Frankfurt - フランクフルト／ドイツ

今日はフランクフルトというドイツの街に来ました。
今日、日本での出来事を知って、悲しみに暮れていました。
カイちゃんも同じでした。自分たちの家族は無事でしたが、今被災した人々がどんな気持ちでいるかと思うと・・・・。何もできないのが悔しい。

Today we are in Frankfurt. I am very sad today as I got the news of Japan today.
Chi is the same. our family are safe but thinking about Japanese victims made us so sad.
We were on tears.......

でも、ツアーは続きます。今できる事をやるしか自分にはできないので、気持ちを切り替えてライブに挑みました。自分も含め、人の人生明日終わるかも分からない。
だから、来てくれたお客さんの為に楽しい時間を提供するのが自分の使命だと自分に言い聞かせました。

but our tour goes on as usual. All I can do is do my best for what I need to do right now.
You never know that your life might finish tomorrow, so I just do my best for what I do now and do my best for people come to our gig.....

今日はステージの後方にバルコニーがあって、ステージが上から見下ろせます。

There is balcony where we can watch the stage on the back stage area.

今回サポートをしてくれる、Retro Stefsonはなんとアイスランド出身。ビョークと同じ。

メンバーは最年少18歳！ドラマーはドラム歴13年と言う。彼は今二十歳。

７歳で始めたのかい！？ニュージェネレーションです。

The support band Retro Stefson are from Iceland. Youngest age in the band is 18!

and drummer said he's been playing drums 13 years. He's only 20 years old.

Did he start drumming at 7 years old!? New generations are on the way....

ドイツのライブではいつもよりみんなノリが良く、とっても楽しく出来ました。

It was rocking gigs and I saw some serious dancing going on, we had good time.

Very sad news... 悲しいニュースが・・・

今BBCのニュースで日本の地震と津波のニュースを知りました。
自然災害、何の手の施しようもないけど、皆さんの安全を祈ってます。
本当に悲しいニュースです。二次災害に気をつけて下さい。
幸いな事に、私の家族、カイちゃんの家族もみんな無事でした。
私の兄は会社で足止めを食らってるようです。

津波のビデオを見ていたら、涙が出ました。あの瞬間にたくさんの人の命が奪われていると思うと、居ても立ってもいられません。本当に悲しいニュースです。

I just saw the news of massive earth quake and Tsunami hit Japan.
It's natural disaster, we can't do anything about it but only I can do is pray for people in Japan.
It's very sad news.... watch out aftershock.
Fortunately, my family and Chi's family are ok.
My brother is stuck in the office in Tokyo, but he's ok.

It's very painful to watch Tsunami video on BBC website.
so many people's life taken away on that moment of Tsunami hit the land....
I couldn't stand it. It's very sad.

EU tour 1st day - Dusseldorf デュッセルドルフ／ドイツ

今日からヨーロッパツアーが始まりました！
イギリス国内のツアーが終わって、３日しか経ってないのに、今日はドイツのデュッセルドルフという所にいます。
Today is our first gig of EU tour. We finished UK tour and Irish date only 3 days ago, then here we go! we are at Dusseldorf - Germany.

ドイツはと〜ってもパンやチーズ、ハムがおいしー♪
delicious bread, ham and cheese in Germany♪

ライブハウスの近くにすごいグラフィティがありました。ウォールアートならぬハウスアート！？ There were amazing wall art (house art!?) I was blown away!

すごーい！Great!

上の写真の屋根の部分をよ〜く見てみると〜？

一件だけじゃありません！通りの家が全部！

It's not only one house, it's all houses on the street!

これがまたすごいんです。遠くから見ると普通の壁紙にみえるんですが・・・

This is amazing. This looks like wall paper from the distance....

でも一つ一つの点と線を全部ペイントしてあるんです。表玄関には大仏ドイツバージョン。

each dots and lines are painted by hand.... I couldn't believe it.

We're in Germany, I feel like in abroad now. this is brilliant.

おっと、観光で来たんじゃなかった。Oops, we are not tourist....

セットアップです。毎日です。Set up, like everyday job.

今日のハコはいつもより小さなハコ。Today's venue is little smaller than we normally play.

マッククラブ。みんなとにかくパソコン大好きです。私ももちろん。

Mac club. We are so addicted to Mac. we need rehab to live without it.

夕食の時間です。Dinner time.

本番は、バリアが今日はなくって、お客さんがものすごい近くて恥ずかしかったけど，お客さんのエナジーが直に伝わって来て、とっても楽しいライブでした。

There were no barrier in front of the stage, I get shy when people come close to us but I felt direct energy from the audience.  I had so much fun. I like sweaty small club gig.

カイちゃんには毎回お客さんの写真を撮ってもらって、感謝してます。おばあちゃんになってからのためにコレクションにしたいと思ってます。

I'd like to make photo correction for when I'm grandma.

ドイツ語が全くしゃべれない。その国に行ったらその国の言葉をできるだけしゃべりたいって思うけど、ムズカシ〜！

その国の言葉をしゃべれなくても、しゃべろうと努力するのは現地の人へのちょっとした敬意にもなると思うんです。

I can't speak any German, I'm rubbish. I want to try to speaking their language in their county, it's respect for them but it's so hard!! I don't want to be someone speaking only English in any country to expect everyone speak English in the world. that's lazy man!! 

明日はフランクフルトです。Next stop Frankfurt.

Dublin! Rocked!

アイルランドはダブリンに来ています。
We're at Dublin, Ireland...
Galwayから電車で移動しました。We took a train from Galway.

ダブリンの街を歩く時間があったので、お散歩しました。

We had time to look around Dublin this time. I took a walk in town.

"心配しないで！"という名前のウィッグ屋さん。ハゲても"心配しないで！"って事かな？

Wig shop called not to worry! "not to worry if you are going to bold!" does it?

肉の上で世界最速なスピードでまわるミラーボール。何がしたいんだ、この肉屋！？

There was a mirror ball spins fastest in the world I've ever seen.... on top of the meat!?

さて、ライブです。Our show... in The Academy.

アイルランドの人はとにかく、ノリが良い！良すぎ！ライブしててもとっても楽しいんです。Irish people rock and party hard on our show every time we go there. It's so much fun to play in Ireland. They are fantastic!

みんなメチャクチャ踊ってくれます。そして、一緒に歌ってくれます。

今日、私が歌詞を間違えた時に客の方が正しい歌詞を歌っていた！アォ！

Everybody dance like crazy, and some of them sing the song with us. 

Some audience were singing right when I sang wrong today. Brilliant. 

そして、アイルランドスペシャルとも言える・・・・

女性の日用ナプキン・・・・私の目の前に・・・飛んできました。

Period pad..... someone ( I guess it's lady) threw in front of me.

前日のガルウェイでは、ステージ目がけてタンポンが飛んできました。

Someone threw tampon in Galway. 

これは、アイルランドのライブの楽しみ方なんかなーって思ったり。かなりウケてます。

It made me laugh, Ireland special?

とっても楽しいライブ終了後、サムの友達と飲みました。

これがまた、アイルランド人でコメディアンと話してるみたいに面白くて、やっぱアイルランドの人は楽しみ方を知ってるんだなーって思いました。

We had some drink with Sam's friends from Ireland. They were like comedians, made me laugh so much! They know how to have fun.

Galway - Ireland

本日はアイルランドのガルウェイという街に来ています。
We're at Galway in Ireland.
今回は飛行機で飛びます。いつもより小さな飛行機！
We fly there, small airplane.

すごく良い天気。It's really sunny.

天気が良いので、みんな川辺でひなたぼっこをしながらビールを飲んだりジャンベを叩いたりしています。

people were sun bathing next to river, drinking and playing Djembe.

いつものようにサウンドチェック。As usual.... sound check.

There were so many people, it rocked!

アイルランド人は、アルコールが大好きというイメージがイギリスにもあります。

今日街を歩いてみて思った事は、パブや飲み屋の数がハンパない！！

めちゃくちゃいっぱいあります。そして、木曜日だと言うのに、夜の街は酔っぱらいで大騒ぎでした。国民性ってすごいんだなぁ。多分、金、土、日ってこんな勢いで行くんだろうなーって思いました。良く体力あるよなぁ。さすがアイルランド。

There are so many pubs and bars in the town, this is Ireland!

so many people were out in the night, and having a fun.... drunk of course.

It was Thursday night but town was rocking like Saturday night in UK. 

They know how to have fun! What a party people. I wish I could drink like them but I'm drunk after a half pint! 

明日はダブリンへ向かいます。
