Flying to Canada - カナダへのフライト

とうとうやって来ました。カナダとアメリカのツアーの為にイギリスから飛行機に乗ります。
Here we are! We've been looking forward to go to Canada and US, we're flying from Heathrow airport.

ロンドンは、今日も晴れ。こんな晴れのロンドンを後にするのはもったいない気がするなぁ。太陽見れる日があるかないかのロンドン・・・。

London is really sunny recently, it's bit a shame to leave London when it's sunny. 

It's pretty rare to see bright sun in London.

ブリティッシュエアウェイズ。飛行時間は７時間。British air ways, 7hours flight.

カナダのトロントへ飛びます。トロントの近くになると、海の上に白いものが・・・。

We're flying to Tronto, when we were near Tronto, I saw some white stuff on the sea.

何だ？What's that?

氷だ！it's ice! 

飛行機から見る景色が大好き。普段見れない壮大な景色が見れて、自分が本当にちっちゃく思える。とっても奇麗！

I love the view from airplane, we can't normally see that amazing land scape and make me feel so small.

it's so beautiful. It reminds me "Blue planet", it's my favorite documentary.

トロントの近くになって来ると、人が住んでない土地の湖が凍って、そこから出ている小さな川も白く凍ってる。

Near Tronto. There was a frozen river comes out from frozen lake. I guess no one living there.

着いた！時差はイギリスより５時間遅れ。時差ボケ早く治さなくちゃ。明日からライブです。頑張って来ます。

We arrived! Tronto is 5 hours behind than UK. I hope our jet lag is not too bad. 

Our tour start from tomorrow, we'll do our best!

We♥Japan Charity event

ヨーロッパツアーも終了して、アメリカツアーの前に一週間の休みに入りました。

友人が日本へのチャリティーイベントを開いたので、The Go! Team DJとして出演して来ました。何かできる事はないか！と震災があってからずっと考えていたのですが、ツアー中でなかなか実現できなくて、もどかしかった！でも今回、やっと少し微力ながら力になれた気がしました。
We've done all the UK and EU tour, now we have a week off before going to US.
My friend organized charity event for Japan while we have day off so I did DJ for this event.
I really wanted to do something for Japan, but I was on tour so I couldn't do anything  for it other than donate money but today, I feel like I can do something. Not big help but small help...

みんなでいらない洋服などを持ち寄って、会場で売りました。私もスーツケースいっぱいの洋服や靴を出しました。売り上げはすべて日本赤十字に贈られます。

People brought unwanted clothes, shoes, records and paints. I brought big suitcase full of clothes and trainers. All the money goes to Japanese Red Cross. 

たくさんの人が来てくれました。入場料がそのままチャリティーに行きます。

出演者ももちろん、無償での善意でした。中には結構ビッグネームの人がいて、かなり豪華な出演者陣でした。

lots of people came to the event. All the entrance fee goes to charity and of cause DJs and bands play it for free. there was some big names on the bill tonight.

誰かがジャパンカップケーキを焼いて来て、売っていました。おいしかった。

There were Japan cap cakes for sale, it was delicious!

この人が主催者のジョニーさん。えらくおもろい人だけど、実はケミカルブラザーズのライブビジュアルを担当している天才。

He's one of the organizer Jonny. He's very funny man and he's so talented. He does Chemical Brothers live visuals (I've seen it! It's amazing) and he made BBC news channel visual. Red and white earth, you see it 50 times a day if you watch BBC news channel whole day specially in abroad. 

そして、今日のビックリ！芸者マン！やたらデカイ。

Geisha men! They are so tall.

芸者マン達は、オークションのお手伝いをしていました。

Geisha man helped auction.

寄付された絵や、スケボー、写真などがどんどん競り落とされて行きます。

People were bidding on drawings, skate boards and pictures.

お友達のカヨちゃんとテツさん。My friends Kayo and Tetsu.

他にもたくさんの友達が応援に来てくれました。嬉しかった。

lots of friends came to support us. I was happy.

私はDJアマチュアなので、早い時間にDJさせてもらいました。緊張したぁ。

彼はChemical BrothersのサポートDJで世界をツアーしてるジェームス。さすがプロ！小さいパブが大盛り上がりでした。

I'm amateur DJ so I played early hours. I was so nervous. He's James Holroyd who tour with Chemical Brothers. He was so good, he made most people dance in the pub. So pro! So smooth!

Japan boy! I don't know him.

最後はDJヤチで締めくくり。彼は熊本出身でこっちでDJ頑張ってます。カッコ良かったよ！

The last DJ is DJ Yachi! He's from same town as me, he's nice DJ. He's good friend of mine. He did good job after pro!

ミュージシャンに出来る事って何かなぁと考えた時に、やっぱり音楽を誰かに楽しんでもらって、募金を募るという事でした。今日はそれができて良かった。たくさんお金が集まってたらいいなぁと思います。日本へ届け、世界みんなの想い！

Thanks Jonny, Mario. I hope we raised lots of money tonight.

I do hope people in Tohoku smile from bottom of their heart someday.

Madrid - マドリッド／スペイン

本日はマドリッドです。We're in Madrid.
朝起きると、バスが地下駐車場に駐車していて、階段を上って外に出てみると・・・
When I woke up, our tour bus was parked underground parking. I went up to see outside....

プラザ・デ・エスパーニャ！Plaza De Espana in Madrid!

観光地という事もあって、変なバスキングをする人がたくさん。

顔のない人に子供もビックリ。そのクオリティーの低さに私もビックリ。

There were lots of buskers as it's tourist destination. Kids were impressed with no face man, I wasn't impressed with it, it's low quality busking, this shouldn't be allowed but I like his outfit.

彼はバイオリンが上手だった。誰も見てなかったけど。He's a good busker, violin sounded good! (but nobody was watching him.)

常夏の日差しが最高。Really summerly sun is out, perfect!

街のタパスバー。カフェラテは、スペイン語で"カフェコネッチェ"。何かカワイイ。

Tapas bar in the town. Cafe latte is "Cafe Conleche" in Spanish. 

この店に来れば、ローマ法王になりすませまっせ。

Maybe I could buy these outfit and change my job in the future as Japanese Pope? (J-Pope)

突然町中にあった青空古本屋。There was outdoor second hand book shop.

今日のライブハウスは、Joyという所。Today's venue is "Joy".

とってもおしゃれな作りの建物。２階、３階まであって、結構大きいぞ。お客さん来るかな？

Stylish venue indeed. There are balconies, quite big venue. I hope people will come to fill up this place.

やりすぎの照明。Over the top lighting or gone too far lighting?

スペインはチーズとハム、サラミなどが充実してます。サムのサラミTシャツ。

We have enough cheese, ham, salami and chorizo in our dressing room in Spain.

Sam's wearing salami T-shirt. I think it suits him.

今日のライブも盛り上がりました。サポートバンドもなし。でもたくさん人が来てくれて、ノリも良くて嬉しかったです！スペイン人にシャイな人はいないのかなぁ。本当にライブしてて楽しい国です。

Today's gig was rocking as Valencia, very nice and warm audience. I think there are not many shy people in Spain. It's really nice to play in Spain because they are enjoying music so much and I can feel it on stage. Gracias madrid!

そして、今日の事件・・・・。カイちゃん人生で初めて救急車で運ばれるの巻。

Today's accident... Chi taken by ambulance in first time in her life....

ライブ終わって、階段で滑っちゃってオデコを階段にぶつけて、血みどろになったカイちゃん。えらいこわかったー。救急車の人が来て、病院に運ばれ5針縫ったそうです。

でも本人は救急車の体験とかを楽しそうに語ってて、ちょっと安心しました。

私も含め、みんなめちゃめちゃ心配してたけど、本人は笑顔でした。ホッ。

After the show, she tripped on the stairs and banged her forehead on the stairs, there were so much blood! I was really worried.  Ambulance came and she went to the hospital. She had 5 stitches....but she was totally fine after was, she was smiling saying "It doesn't hurt much." Thank god for that!

ツアーはいろいろあります。明日も頑張ります。

Lots of things happening on tour, we'll do our best tomorrow again.

Valencia - バレンシア／スペイン

イギリスで何日か休んだ後は、スペインのバレンシアに飛行機で飛びました。
すんごい朝早くて、１時間くらいしか前の日寝れませんでした。
We had few days off back in UK and flied to Valencia in the early morning. REALLY early morning.
I had about 1hour sleep.

バレンシアに降り立つと、そこは常夏！イギリスにいると、夏の存在すら忘れてしまう。
Super summerly in Valencia! I forgot about existence of summer because I live in London.

空き時間にはフリスビー。見よ！この夏空。Boys love frisbee. Look at this summer sky!

イアンは犬と会話中。Ian can talk with animals.

すごく疲れていたので、散歩もできず、良い写真がありません。すいません。

I was really tired, I didn't walk around so I don't have good pictures. Sorry.

公園にはオレンジの木。バレンシアオレンジ？Valencia orange in the park?

今日のライブハウスはWah Wah。Today's venue is called "Wah Wah".

空き時間に近くの公園でお休み中のお兄ちゃん達。

スペイン人は、とにかく楽しむのが好き！飲んで踊って、友達とおしゃべりして・・・。

サポートバンドもなしで、何のウォームアップもできてない状態でうちらがステージに上がると、大盛り上がり！もう、やってる方も楽しくて楽しくて。すごく暖かい人々の笑顔がステージから見えて、最高に楽しかったです。シャイな人もいないと思われ・・・・。

ステージ上のフィードバックとかもあって音も決して良くなかったはずなのに、みんな本当に楽しんでくれて・・・。バレンシア、最高！

People in Valencia were so warm, I felt it on stage. They know how to have fun. There were no support band, no warm up for our show but as soon as we started the show, they had big smile on their face, dancing and enjoying themselves. It was so much fun to play there. I don't think it was best sound and show, there was feedback on stage and stuff like that, but Valencia people's smile and warm atmosphere made us easy and play good show. Small club, great people. Gracias Valencia!!
