Busy weekend! 忙しい週末！

今週末は殺人スケジュールでした。金曜日パリ、土曜日アイルランド、日曜日グラストンベリー！
We had very busy weekend. Friday in Paris, Saturday in Ireland and Sunday in Glastonbury!

パリはSolidays Festival.... フランスのご飯はとってもおいしい！
Solidays Festival in Paris..... Beautiful food in France as always! I love it.

モニターサウンドマン、ジム。仕事は真剣、プライベートはコメディアン。

Our favorite monitor sound man, Jim. He works very hard, and he's like a comedian when he's not working. Brilliant.

ラインチェック中。テントの中に星があってカワイイ。Line check. I  like stars on the roof.

夜中12時の出番でした。楽しかったです！

We played at midnight, we enjoyed it!

フランスのプロモーター、ダブ。（写真真ん中）

フランス人ならではのエレガントに加え、サラっとギャグを飛ばす感じが最高なダブ。

The Go! Teamの一番好きなプロモーター。いつもフランスに呼んでくれる。

Our favorite promoter, Dub.  (he's on the middle with glasses on)

He's so elegant, smooth but his joke is high class, made us laugh all the time. We love him and his french accent. he book us in France all the time. Merci Dub!

われらがお父さん、ミック。彼がうちらのすべてのブッキングを担当。ロンドンに住んでるのに、突然パリに現れたりする。多分どこでもドア持ってると思う。

Daddy Mick. He's our agent. He lives in UK but he appears in France suddenly. I think he's got some kind of secret skill like warp.

さてさて、寝る時間もほとんどないよ。３時間睡眠、アイルランドへgo!

Well, we don't really have much time to sleep. 3 hours sleep then fly to Ireland!

Charles De Gaulle airport is very stylish!

今日はアイルランド、Sea session。Today we play at Sea session in Ireland.

海の目の前のサイトで、サーフィンのフェスみたい。The site is right in front of the sea. Surfer's festival.

ライブは、あんまり寝てないのもあってちょっと疲れ気味だったけど、お客さんに元気をもらって頑張れました。

I felt bit tired after not much sleep but audience gave us energy. It was good gig! Thank you.

そして、今日の一番。スカタライツ！！　Todays best, The Skatalites!!

彼らは1963年に結成された、スカの先進者。

すっげー踊った！楽しかった！今はもうおじいちゃんになって、オリジナルメンバーもそんなにいないみたいだけど、昔はこうだった。

I danced so much! It was so much fun! They are not many original member left but they were like this back in 1984.

明日はグラストンベリー！４年ぶり。頑張るぞ。
Tomorrow we are playing at Glastonbury. We played there in 2007, after 4 years we play there again!
We do our best!

B-side festival Switzerland ／スイスB-sideフェスティバル

スイスのクリエンスという所にフェルティバルに行って来ました。
We played at Kriens in Switzerland.

山の上に車で上って行くと・・・・
We drove to the mountain.....

この景色！素晴らしい。空気がとってもおいしい。
Great view! Brilliant. Air is so fresh.

景色の良さに感動。We were so impressed by the view.

みんな自然に戻るの巻。Everybody went back to the forest.

会場に着くと、まだ準備中だった。手作りっぽい小さなフェスティバル感が最高。

We arrived the site, they were still preparing the site. Small hand made feeling festival. I love it.

お昼はアルプスの山でチリコンカン。小学校で行ったキャンプを思い出すー。

We had chili for lunch, reminds me school camping. Eating it in alps is so special.

フェスティバルがオープンすると、入り口で歌ってるバンドがいた。バンジョーがいい感じだったぁ。こういうのいいなぁ。

There was a band playing outside of entrance. Banjo sounded nice. 

会場してしばらくすると、雲行きが怪しくなってきたー。山の天気は変わりやすい・・・。

After the door open, sky getting darker.....

そして、自分たちの出番の時は大雨！ああ、なんでー！？

then it rained so hard when we play. Why!?

でも来てくれた人達はとっても楽しんでて、こっちも頑張りました！

アルプス最高。"アルプスの少女ハイジ"がめちゃくちゃ好きだった子供時代の影響かな。しかもそのアルプスでライブするなんて、思っても見なかったよぉ。

楽しかった！

but audience were enjoying so much in the rain, we did our best!

I love alps. I was crazy about "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" when I was kid, still effect me big time and I never ever thought I play gig in Alps. I'm very lucky.

Warsaw -ワルシャワ Piknik Kulturalny フェスティバル

お久しぶりです！ツアーが全部終わって、２週間、地蔵状態で夏フェス一発目です。
ポーランドの首都、ワルシャワ。これがポーランドでは初めてのライブです。
Long time no see! We finished all the tour. We had nice 2 weeks off, then this is first summer festival for us. Warsaw Poland. This is first time to play there.


去年、全く同じフェスティバルに呼ばれて行ったのですが、さあライブの準備はできた、完璧、って時にすごい豪雨に襲われ、しばらく待機していました。これは去年。
We came exactly same festival last year. When we were ready to go, started to rain heavily.
We were waiting to rain to stop. This picture is from last year.

しばらくすると雨が止んで、よし行くぞ！って気合いを入れた時になんと！・・・・
ステージ脇のサウンドデスクの上の天井が雨の重みで滝のように落ちて来た！叫んだ！
その側にいたステージマネージャーとサウンドマンが濁流に流された・・・。
そして、ジリジリ・・・バッ・・・って音がして、すべての音が消えた。
Rain stopped, then we were ready to go. but..... Roof of the stage fell because of too much water.
It was like big waterfall on top of the monitor desk, I screamed! water swallowed sound man.
Then I heard buzzing..... in next second, all the electricity was gone...



中止。gig cancelled....

ありえんでしょ！Go! Team!って叫んでずぶ濡れで待っててくれたお客さんもいたのに。
でも電気系やられたら、どうしようもなかった。悔しかったー。
I couldn't believe it! people were waiting for us, they were so wet. I felt so bad.
but we couldn't do anything as all the electricity were gone.



そして、１年ぶり、帰って来たよワルシャワ。今度はやるぞ！サウンドチェック朝９時。出番夜９時半・・・・そんな。
And we are back! A year later. We really want to do it this time! sound check 9am, on stage at 9:30pm!

ギターテックアルが帰って来た！久しぶりに会えて嬉しい。

Our favorite guitar tech Al on board. We are very happy to see him.

日本にも一緒に行ったトミーも頑張ってます。

朝早くて眠いサムと私。We are so sleepy.

サウンドチェックが終わって、ワルシャワのオールドタウンに行った。奇麗だったぁ。

I went to old town after sound check, it was beautiful!

映画の撮影してたよ。filming was going on. 

ナチスの兵隊さん役とかがウロウロしてたから、戦争映画だね。こんなにエキストラの人がいっぱいいると、自分がどの時代にいるのか分からなくなる。

I think it was war film. I felt like I was in 1950's. 

そして、ご飯へ。Food was beautiful!

ビートルートと卵のスープ。見た目ヤバいけど、これがおいしかった。

Soup with beetroot and eggs. It looks dodgy but taste great!

今日のフェスティバルはフリーフェスティバルで、家族連れがたくさんいたりする。

ポーランドの有名な女優さんが一人芝居みたいのをやってた。

This festival is free, there were families. famous actress were doing some acting. we didn't understand.

ナイスな控え室。Nice dressing room.

そして本番。最初はあんまり盛り上がらない感じだったけど、後半になるにつれいい感じになってきて、終わってからはとっても良いライブだった！って思えました。

フリーフェスティバルだった事を考えると、とても良いライブでした。楽しかった！

First bit of the set wasn't really rocking but it picked up later on, then it rocked in the end!

It was good gig, considering its a free concert, it was great gig for us. We enjoyed. Thank you Warsaw!

すべてのツアーを終えて、イギリスに帰ります。名残惜しいなぁ。
We finished all the tour, going back to UK. It's bit sad to leave here for me.

日本から出国する時にメッセージがあった。日本人って素晴らしい。

There were message from Japan in departure gate. Nice message it was.

日本で見た面白い&変なもの。

There are funny and wired stuff in Japan.

工事現場のカワイイカエル。これなら工事もウザくない。

Cute frogs on road work. I don't really mind road work if frogs there.

渋谷の道ばたで、パラパラの練習をするギャル男の生き残り。

Gal boys practicing Para para dance in Shibuya. There are not many gals surviver anymore.

人間解剖の寝袋。Human body sleeping bag.

スパゲティーハウスでスパゲティーを食べているロボット。

The robot eating pasta in pasta shop.

そして、日本から今回買って来たものを紹介。

I bought these from Japan.

ほとんどがチーズ鱈。お酒はあんまり飲まないけど、チーズ鱈大好き！

I bought 3 bags of "Cheese and cod" snack. Cheese and thin dried cod stick together. I love it.

そして、枝豆の種！育てて、めちゃめちゃ枝豆食べたい。未だかつてイギリスで冷凍えだまめ以外見た事ない。

Edamame seeds! I only found frozen Edamame in UK, I grow it and eat Edamame as much as I want!

キットカット！最高やねぇ。

Kitkat Green tea and melon! I haven't tasted it yet.

Kit kat Wasabi! I'm scared.

そして、なぜか・・・・
I couldn't resist it when I saw it.... "Roses appear from your finger tip one after another!"

そして・・・・

and.....  handkerchief appears from empty hand!

一回もマジックやった事ないけど、一回薔薇を次々出せるヤツをやってみたかった。
どこでやるか、誰に見せるかも分かんないけど。笑
I never done magic but I want to do these. It's gonna be fun. I might be professional magician next year.
