We♥Japan Charity event

We've done all the UK and EU tour, now we have a week off before going to US.
My friend organized charity event for Japan while we have day off so I did DJ for this event.
I really wanted to do something for Japan, but I was on tour so I couldn't do anything  for it other than donate money but today, I feel like I can do something. Not big help but small help...

People brought unwanted clothes, shoes, records and paints. I brought big suitcase full of clothes and trainers. All the money goes to Japanese Red Cross.

lots of people came to the event. All the entrance fee goes to charity and of cause DJs and bands play it for free. there was some big names on the bill tonight.

There were Japan cap cakes for sale, it was delicious!

He's one of the organizer Jonny. He's very funny man and he's so talented. He does Chemical Brothers live visuals (I've seen it! It's amazing) and he made BBC news channel visual. Red and white earth, you see it 50 times a day if you watch BBC news channel whole day specially in abroad.

Geisha men! They are so tall.

Geisha man helped auction.

People were bidding on drawings, skate boards and pictures.

My friends Kayo and Tetsu.

lots of friends came to support us. I was happy.

I'm amateur DJ so I played early hours. I was so nervous. He's James Holroyd who tour with Chemical Brothers. He was so good, he made most people dance in the pub. So pro! So smooth!

Japan boy! I don't know him.

The last DJ is DJ Yachi! He's from same town as me, he's nice DJ. He's good friend of mine. He did good job after pro!

It was really good event. Thanks for people who came to support our event!
Thanks Jonny, Mario. I hope we raised lots of money tonight.
I do hope people in Tohoku smile from bottom of their heart someday.

  1. Good effort from you all Kaori.

This man is also Japanese, and for one so young, he is already one of my heroes, showing he has realised what life is all about:

  3. Gary> I know him! He's very famous in Japan. He's so young and talented.
    I wanna see eagle!

  4. He's the only golfer ever (in history) to shoot a 58 on tour, and he's still so young. I think he will win majors, good luck to him!

I assume you know an eagle is a golf score, I had a 3 on a par 5 (rather than the big bird-type eagle;).

I get about 2 or 3 eagles in a year, so a very rare bird for me! Here is where I play in Devon..

I am lucky, it is a beautiful place.

You'd be welcome to come around the course with me when you are down this way in June (big difference from the streets of London), you'll maybe see that eagle.

Look out USA, here come the Go! Team! (safe travels, mind those stairs!)
